Privacy
This is my personal portfolio. I don’t sell anything here, show ads or track you across other sites. Here’s the little the site does collect, and why.
Who is responsible
Josephine Kleinschmidt, the designer behind this site. Write to me at josephinek9200@gmail.com.
When you visit
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel briefly logs technical details such as your IP address and browser to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
I count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you: it only tells me how many people visited and which pages they saw. Fonts and images all come from this site, not from Google or other companies.
Cookies and browser storage
There’s no cookie banner because the site only stores two things in your browser, and only when you ask for them:
- The colour theme you pick, so the site remembers it next time. It stays in your browser and is never sent to me.
- An access cookie when you unlock a private case with a code. It holds your name and code reference so you don’t have to log in again, and it expires after 30 days.
Private cases
If you ask for access, I get your name, email and (if you add them) company and role by email. I only use them to reply and send you a code, and I delete the request within 12 months.
When you unlock a case, your name and the time you agreed to keep it confidential are recorded in the site’s server log, which Vercel deletes automatically after a short time. Your code is linked to a short label in the site settings until I remove it, at the latest when the product launches.
Why I may do this
Running the site, answering your request and protecting my clients’ unreleased work are legitimate interests (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Sending you a code is also something you asked me to do (article 6(1)(b)).
Who else handles it
- Vercel: hosting, visit counting and server logs.
- Resend: delivers access requests to my inbox.
- Google (Gmail): my email inbox.
They are US companies. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses. Nobody else gets your data, and I never sell it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I have about you, or object to how I use it. Just write to josephinek9200@gmail.com. If you think I’ve got something wrong, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) or the authority where you live.
